This sensitive project compromised of the asbestos removal, internal strip out and structural reconfiguration of the main teaching blocks at the 8 - 9 acre Flackwell Heath Campus of The Amersham and Wycombe College in Buckinghamshire.

This project was carried out in a pre-planned and agreed sequence to ensure that this live college incurred only minimal disruption while our contracted works were carried out.

All of our works were carried out to within the time frame alloted as well as on budget and to the satisfaction of the client, Miller Construction, who have since awarded Lancebox a number of new projects as well as phase 2, Block B at Amersham and Wycombe College to carry out the asbestos removal and high rise demolition.

• Detailed and intricate attention to detail in the sequencing and planning of our works.
• Installation of screening, access and egress routes, site compound fencing and edge protection for the roof works.
• Removal of all high risk asbestos containing materials under fully controlled conditions including asbestolux ceilings, carried out by Lancebox Environmental Services.
• Internal soft strip works including the demolition of load bearing walls, sections of roofing and temporary propping required to carry out these works.
• The careful demolition and removal of a concrete pedestrian bridge, externmal stairs and planters all carried out by Lancebox Ltd.
• The removal of the sports hall floor and stage construction, CAT and RADAR scanning of the area and the subsequent large internal excavation

The Lancebox Group carried out the sequenced asbestos removals, demolition and foundation removals at this 7 acre project on behalf of Kier Southern.

This was our first project for Kier and the works were carried out within programme and budget. Kier have since awarded us a further 12 contracts totalling over £1,000,000.

The Lancebox group are proud to have carried out the following works on this project working in conjunction with Kier Southern and Noble Environmental associates.

• Removal of all low risk asbestos containing materials throughout the school including unidentified asbestos cement shuttered ducting, floor tiling and textured coating throughout using Lancebox Environmental Services Ltd.
• Removal of all high risk asbestos containing materials under fully controlled conditions including asbestos insulation boards, pipe work and boiler room sprayed coatings using Lancebox Environmental Services Ltd.
• Pre-demolition soft strip works to ensure that all waste materials were segregated prior to the recycling processes undertaken to the nearest available waste facility.
• The sequenced demolition of the school using heavy demolition plant including our high reach excavator caaried out by Lancebox Ltd.
• The breaking up and removal of all slabs and foundations to the site with all suitable hard rubble waste recycled back to our own licensed recycling yard.

Lancebox Limited carried out the phased full internal strip out at the offices of Goldman Sachs bank, on Fleet Street, London, while it remained operational.

These sensitive works were carried out over an area of two acres spanning multiple floors.

The sequencing of our works required particular attantion to ensure that the live building and its occupants remained unaffected.

The Lancebox Group are proud to have successfully carried out the following works on this prestigious project;

• The completion of all specific Goldman Sachs security clearances, additional training and permit to work systems.
• The removal and delivery of all salvageable chairs, tables and other suitable furniture from our works area to the clients nominated charity.
• The detailed planning required to manage a variety of different site constraints including set and agreed delivery and loading away periods, lift loading access and noise monitoring.
• The sequencing of both our day and night shift teams to ensure that the tight programme targets were achieved.
• The internal demolition and removal of the main staircase of the building, including for any temporary works, supports and edge protection.
• The full internal strip out of the building from the sixth to the tenth floors, working around live services were necessary and in sequence with other trades.

Lancebox Group were contracted to carry out the complete demolition, asbestos removal and overall site clearcance at this former chicken factory. This project on an 8 - 10 acre site was undertaken for Ward Homes while acting as principal Contractor.

The Lancebox Group are proud to have carried out the following works on site;

• The removal of all low risk asbestos containing materials under semi controlled conditions as set out in CAR 2006 regulations by Lancebox Environmental Services.
• The removal of all high risk asbestos containing materials under fully controlled conditions conforming to HSG 247 regulations and CAR 2006 regulations by Lancebox Environmental Services.
• The structural demolition of all factory units and processing plant throughout the whole site by Lancebox Limited.
• The removal of all slabs and foundations on site by Lancebox Limited.
• Breaking up and mucking away of all permanant and temporary roadways throughout the site by Lancebox Limited.
• Lancebox Group carried out the production a Health and Safety construction phase plan as well as environmental plans and traffic management plans for this project.
• A total of 8 heavy demolition machines were required for this project complete with two crushers and a screening unit.

Lancebox Group carried out the phased asbestos removals, demolition, brick salavge and foundation removals at this active school set on approx. 9 acres for The Apollo Group's Education division.

Lancebox Group were proud to have successfully carried out the following works on time and within budget.

• Surveying and removal of both low risk and high risk asbestos containing materials by Lancebox Environmental Services.
• Phased demolition of The Norwood Block, associated junior school and numerous temporary buildings around the site by Lancebox Ltd.
• Site management of scaffolders while erecting demolition scaffolding for the high rise demolition of Norwood block using heavy demolition plant including high reach excavator with mucher attachment by Lancebox Ltd.
• Pre-demolition soft strip of all buildings to ensure all waste materials are segregated prior to the recycling processes undertaken at a local transfer facility.
• Breaking up and removal of all slabs and foundations to all buildings, with all hard rubble waste removed by our fleet of HGV's and recycled back at our own licensed recycling centre.

Project Value £200,000.00 Asbestos Survey

Lancebox Ltd, acting as the principle contractor for this site has completed the Asbestos removal and subsequent Demolition of the Old Medical Building at Kings College Hospital.

Lancebox Ltd were required to carry out an Asbestos Type III survey and the subsequent removal prior to the required Scaffolding, Strip-Out and Demolition of the complete building and it’s suspended link bridges.
